50 Cent, Megan Fox Join Sylvester Stallone In Action-Packed Trailer For ‘The Expendables 4’

The first trailer of The mercenaries 4 sees franchise stalwarts Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham team up with a cast of series newcomers 50 Cent and Mega Fox.

The trailer for the action film shows that the accused veterans and neophytes were averting “World War III” by eliminating “terrorists have seized nuclear missiles on a cargo ship off the coast,” explains Andy Garcia in the necessary voiceover . Between quick cuts of an armada of heavy machinery and firearms, the trailer includes Statham and Fox fighting in their apartment and Stallone throwing an attacker over a bar.

Returning to the franchise alongside Stallone and Statham are Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture, joined by a new generation of Expendables including Fox, 50 Cent, Garcia, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio and Levy Tran.

In a recent cover story with The Hollywood Reporterthat Stallone talked about Consumables 4, saying, “I heard it went pretty well. Jason Statham accounts for 80%. He is happy about it.

The official synopsis of the film reads: “The Expendables are the world’s last line of defense and the team that is called upon when all other options are out of question. But new team members with new styles and tactics will give ‘new blood’ a whole new meaning.”

It’s been almost a decade since the last one Consumables movie. The first three Consumables releases, released in 2010, 2012 and 2014, collectively grossed a whopping $800 million at the global box office.

Lionsgate will release The mercenaries 4 on 22 September.
