How to watch the 2023 Emmy nominations live stream

The countdown to one of TV’s biggest nights is underway with the 2023 Emmy Awards nominations announced today, July 12.

“Community” alum Yvette Nicole Brown and Television Academy president Frank Scherma will unveil the nominees list during a livestream event on the Official site of the Emmys. Starting at 11:30am ET/8:30am PT, Brown and Fencing will announce the honorees for the 75th Emmy Awards. You can also stream the nomination submission via YouTube below.

This year’s Emmys will take place on Monday, September 18 at 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT. Fans can watch the awards show live on Fox – although that date could apparently change in the event of a dual union strike with SAG joining the WGA, where a SAG work stoppage would ban talent from participating in advertising activities and previews – and red carpets. However, SAG-AFTRA did not publicly state full member restrictions during a strike. But Fox is reportedly on hold to reschedule the ceremony. SAG-AFTRA’s deadline for finalizing a new contract with the AMPTP remains July 12 at midnight PT, although a federal mediator has now been brought into the process.

Television shows from June 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023 are eligible for Emmy nominations. The latest seasons of beloved series like ‘Barry’, ‘Succession’, ‘Better Call Saul’, ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ and ‘The Other Two’ should be acknowledged. Season 1 of ‘The Bear’ and new series ‘Poker Face’ plus Showtime’s beloved ‘Yellowjackets’ and Netflix limited series ‘Beef’, FX on Hulu’s ‘Fleishman Is in Trouble’, ‘Monster: Netflix Story’s The Jeffrey Dahmer” and Prime Video’s “Daisy Jones and the Six” are other favorites, as predicted by IndieWire’s Marcus Jones. Last year’s major drama winner “Succession” could repeat itself at this year’s Emmys for its universally acclaimed final season.

Last year’s Emmy highlights include “Abbott Elementary,” “The White Lotus,” “Succession,” “Ted Lasso” and “Squid Game” all of which took home major awards.
