Social Media Personality and Disney Channel Star Turned Pro Boxer Jake Paul to Make Film Debut in Combat Sports Drama Backed by Mandalay Pictures and Wonder Street
Paul will play a small-town youth who is gaining international fame as a boxer. “Like many other superstar content creators, Jake has cracked the code to appeal to an audience that generates hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue while telling his story in a way that directly connects with audiences of all ages,” said producer David Zelon in a statement. on Tuesday.

Paul initially rose to fame on Vine, the defunct social video app, before jumping to YouTube. He also landed a role in the Disney Channel series Bizarardvarkalthough he was let go of the show after a few antics by himself and his brother Logan Paul, also a social media star turned boxer, he made unflattering headlines.
Paul started boxing in 2018 and turned pro two years later. He also co-founded Most Valuable Promotions, a boxing promotion company.
The untitled film will be produced by Mandalay’s David Zelon and Wonder Street’s Craig Baumgarten. Paul and Nakisa Bidarian will serve as executive producers.
“As someone who has always believed in pushing boundaries and taking risks, I can’t wait to bring this unique story and my brand to the big screen. This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my career,” Paul said in his statement.
In 2022, Paul also entered sports betting by launching Betr, a sports company focused on micro-betting and hosts a weekly talk show titled BS with Jake Paul.
