After the great reception at the Cannes Film Festival, that of Martin Scorsese The flower moon killers got its first full-length trailer from Apple.
Scorsese collaborates again with Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in the historical drama starring Lily Gladstone and Jesse Plemons.
Eric Roth and Scorsese adapted the screenplay from David Grann’s book Killers of the Flower Moon: adapted for young readers: the Osage murders and the birth of the FBI, which tells the story of the Osage Murders that saw Native Americans killed for access to their wealth and oil-rich lands. The film tells the story of the murders and subsequent government investigations through the love story of Ernest Burkhart (DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Gladstone).

“The three-and-a-half-hour running time is fully justified in a mounting tragedy that never loosens its grip — a sordid illustration of historic erasure with echoes in today’s bitterly divisive political game,” it reads The Hollywood Reporter Film review in Cannes.
“I understood when I heard what (the Osage) values are about love and respect and a love of the land – and I’m not talking about turning this into a political issue; I’m really talking about living on this planet – it refocused me every time I heard it,” Scorsese said at the festival.
The flower moon killers will receive a limited theatrical release in IMAX theaters on October 6, with a wide October 20 before global streaming on Apple TV+.
