‘Small Ax’ & ‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 Star Daniel Francis Joins Sam Raimi’s Horror Film ‘Don’t Move’ (Exclusive)

Daniel Francis, who played Steve McQueen Small ax anthology series and is among the new faces joining the third season of the Netflix hit Bridgertonwas cast in the upcoming horror thriller film Do not move from Sam Raimi’s Raimi Productions, Christian Mercuri’s Capstone Studios and Alex Lebovici’s Hammerstone Studios.

Led by Kelsey Asbille (Yellowstone, Fargo, River of the Wind) and Finn Wittrock (american horror story, The big bet, La La Land), whose casting was announced by The Hollywood Reporter at Cannes, the film follows an experienced killer who injects a grieving woman with a numbing agent. He must run, fight and hide before her body shuts down completely. DAY understands that Francis, who also starred in the Netflix thriller Harlan Coben Stay closewill play a police officer in the film, directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto, who recently directed episodes of Raimi’s horror anthology series 50 states of fear.

Do not move was written by TJ Cimfel and David White, who also wrote the Blumhouse horror thriller There is something wrong with the children, which is in post-production for release next year.

Raimi, Lebovici and Zainab Azizi are producing with Sarah Sarandos (Uncut gems) as executive producer.

Capstone Studios is financing Do not movewith Capstone Global handling the worldwide rights.
