Tribeca Festival Hosts ‘De Niro Con’ Event to Celebrate Co-Founder’s 80th Birthday

The Tribeca Festival is throwing its all into co-founder Robert De Niro’s 80th birthday by throwing a three-day celebration, dubbed “De Niro Con,” this fall.

The event for fans, which will be held from September 29 to October. 1, technically just over a month after De Niro’s actual birthday on August 17, will feature film screenings, panel discussions, musical performances, immersive installations and recreations of iconic film sets. De Niro and his co-stars and regular collaborators are expected to join the celebration at Spring Studios in New York City. The full lineup of programming will be revealed this summer.
